CAMINO CHILL-OUT With “Primi”:

Luisa Rubines – Quinta Sacra – prepared a very special excursion de vino as we made our way to meet Primitivo Lareu, known by his close friends as “Primi”, to enjoy learning more about Ribeira Sacra wines at his Bodega SABATELIUS. It was a great afternoon to share in a little Los Corchos – “Hablar Con Amigos” as we tasted, sipped, and talked about winemaking Galician style! A very special and time honored tradition of hard work, love of a craft, and a unique skill passed down through the ages. Mixing the best of this incredibly beautiful, rich and fertile land balanced with the tender touch and long hard hours of labor to make for delicious bottles of fantastically flavorful VINO!!! A very unique CAMINO CHILL-OUT afternoon 🙂

Walking Along Vineyards With Via Romana

WINE WANDERINGS WITH VIA ROMANA

If you are a wine lover then you are sure to enjoy an adventure walking along vineyards watching the grapes grow before your eyes.  In a setting that is like heaven Ribeira Sacra with every look shows you why the Romans stopped here and decided to cultivate the steep hillsides working in harmony with the beauty of the land and mother natures blessing of a very special MICRO-CLIMATE distinct to the area.

Beautiful vistas where almost everywhere you look you can see the ancient terraced roman vineyards making for an incredibly peaceful view and a wonderful afternoon as Oscar Gonzalez Rizo of Via Romana Adegas e Viñedos took Kris Pereira and myself on a very special personal tour. MUCHISIMAS GRACIAS!

Os Pendellos Pulperia & Via Romana: Tapas Y Vinos Y MAS!

A fantastic day in Chantada exploring new places, making new friendships, and yes enjoying more delicious Via Romana Wine and some of the Pulpo Specialties of the house at Os Pendellos – It is a combination that makes for lots of FUN and many special memories.  A very big thank you to Roberto of Os Pendellos Pulperia for inviting us to get behind the scenes and into the COCINA with Sonia where she taught me a few new tricks in preparing the famous Galician dish of Pulpo – all delicious and definitely keep you wanting to go back for more.

Oscar Gonzalez Rizo of Via Romana Adegas e Viñedos joined in the fun where we got to “HABLAR CON AMIGOS” and learn what everyone loves of pairing some of their favorite wine with some of their favorite recipes.  Loved hearing your stories of memories that have been cherished since childhood of families and friends enjoying celebrating. One of the wonderful traditions that makes living in Galicia so very unique and special 🙂

From Ancient Roman Times to Modern Day Wine WANDERINGS – I will continue my camino with more Wine Tasting Along The Way enjoying the adventures of EL CAMINO DEL VINO 🙂

This year I will celebrate a 4 year dream come to life with sharing my creation of an EL CAMINO DEL VINO –  VINOSTELLANA! Just like the “Compostellana” that is given to pilgrims for making their journey along the way. I will share my passion and project ideas of wine adventures and “Wine Tasting Along The Way” – A truly fun and unique way to DESCUBRE GALICIA – Discover Galicia and enjoy!

A Day With Quinta Sacra & La Voz On The Rio Miño
