Wine adventures continue this weekend as we explore Monforte de Lemos and the beautiful wine region of Ribeira Sacra. Ancient Roman Vineyards cultivated on steep hillsides with spectacular views. Touring the famous Wine Museum of Monforte de Lemos and sleeping in the Parador what more could one ask for a fantastic weekend of wine tasting in the Camino Invierno – or the Winter Way of St. James or another famous El Camino Del Vino of Galicia.
Continuing the wine travels of 3as Xornadas de portas abertas nas rutas dos viños de Galicia we will travel, tour and taste some of Ribeira Sacra’s finest wines and enjoy some of its most incredible vistas.

Of course you do not need the ” Portas Abertas das Rutas dos Viños” to visit the bodegas (wineries) of the Ribeira Sacra. Some are open no matter what time of the year others can be “opened” by arrangements of your Casa Rural (accommodation).
Yes – Ribeira Sacra is wonderful to visit anytime of the year – all the seasons provide unique views and incredible experiences 🙂
