Walking The Ways In Galicia sometimes magic happens and you synchronistically journey on a path of discovery that delights all your senses and invites you to continue to explore meeting new people, visiting new places and creating new memories. Such has been my luck and pleasure in Ribeira Sacra when I decided to continue “Walking The Ways In Galicia” and explore more of this beautiful, vibrant and alive region. Ribeira Sacra is a magical setting with ancient roman wine vineyards spectacular views and incredible people. Ribeira Sacra is part of the Camino Invierno, the Winter Way, or as I like to call it El Camino Del Vino.
My camino has continued with more special experiences in Ribeira Sacra and one such pleasure was joining in the celebration of a very special and unique casa rural called Cabo Do Mundo located just up river from Belesar in the town of Soto next to Nogueira. A secret hideaway with many treasures to discover and enjoy. An incredible 3 year renovation by owners Lucie and Kaj Christensen and their construction team headed by Emilio and Juan Carlos who worked miracles to turn an old Galician ruin into an OASIS and DREAM HOUSE along the Rio Miño. A place that is waiting for you to come visit, explore, relax and ENJOY 🙂
An incredible day and new beginning for all in Ribeira Sacra for all to enjoy. A very special thank you to Lucie and Kaj Christensen, Kris Pereira for her amazing pictures highlighting Via Romana’s incredible wine, and all who took part in making such a special time that we will all remember. My camino continues with new friends, exciting experiences and much more to discover along the way.
